Arslanbob is a unique creation of nature, a blooming oasis at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level and one of the most beautiful resorts located in the South of Kyrgyzstan.
The Arslanbob area is located in the ridge tract of Babash-ATA on the Western and southern slopes of the Ferghana and Chatkal ranges and is famous, above all, stunning relic nut-fruit woods occupying a total of 608,5 thousand hectares.
The only relict nut – bearing forests in the world are not the only charm of Arslanbob. In rocky gorges at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level, mountain rivers rapidly carry their white-washed waters. Sometimes they fall far down, creating fabulous waterfalls.
And local residents still remember the legend that once Alexander the great himself brought to his distant homeland the fruits that he liked, which marked the beginning of the walnut gardens of Greece (after this event, this type of nut got its name – walnut).
